This petition is a team building effort; not a legally binding document in securing the initiation of a recall election. In order to meet the requirements to enact a recall; we need to organize, prepare, and mobilize; because only one recall can be attempted per term and the signatures must be collected within a narrow timeframe on a specific paper form. As we are building a team; we welcome and encourage all of your skills and knowledge. This is a movement will require help from many people with various skills, expertise, and life experiences. I’d also like to thank everyone who has already reached out with advice and offered to help organize in their areas! This petition will serve as a connecting point to join the mailing list for updates. I will meet with a constitutional amendment lawyer to sort the details, inquire about signature witnesses, and we will formulate a plan of action.

I, along with many others in Wisconsin, are deeply affected by Senator Ron Johnson's neglect of our needs and rights. We have made countless efforts to express our concerns, but our voices seem to fall on deaf ears. Senator Johnson repeatedly demonstrates an overwhelming concern for his donors and a loyalty to Trump, rather than considering the wellbeing of his constituents. 

With frustrations running high, it is necessary for us to seek a recall election in 2025. Senator Johnson continues to vote against policies that would improve our lives, favoring those that serve his interests or those of his benefactors. His actions are clear - he chooses political loyalty over public service, ignoring the very people he pledged to protect and serve.

According to polls by Marquette Law School; 48% of Wisconsin voters disapproved of Senator Johnson's job performance in March of 2021 and 49% in August 2024. In addition 10-17% of participates stated they were not informed enough on the issues to give a response. Thereby; leaving only 36 - 39% supporting Johnson. This evidences a growing discontent with his representation. We must stand strong and take decisive action if we are to protect marginalized communities and defend the rights of Wisconsinites.

We call upon the concerned and dedicated citizens of Wisconsin to support our motion to communicate our intent to enact a recall election in 2025. We seek to replace Senator Johnson with a representative who values our voices and our rights. Each signature lends more strength to our endeavor. Grant us your support and aid us in reclaiming our representation.

We need 638,325 signatures on paper to make this legally binding. So it will require organization. As soon as the petition is filed; Johnson will have 10 days to resign or a recall election will be enacted. This is only 25% of the last gubernatorial race voters. We can do this Wisconsin!
