I am compelled to start this petition because our current Premier of Ontario, Doug Ford, is leading our province down a perilous path. His policies and decisions have not only failed to protect the interests of Ontarians but have also actively harmed our communities, our environment, and our cherished public services.

Under Doug Ford's leadership, we have witnessed severe cuts to essential services including healthcare and education, which have left our most vulnerable populations at risk. Just a few months ago, funding for mental health support was drastically reduced, leaving thousands without access to critical services. Schools have seen budget cuts, resulting in overcrowded classrooms and underpaid teachers. This is detrimental to the future of our children and to the prosperity of Ontario itself.

Moreover, Ford’s environmental policies, or lack thereof, have set back progress by weakening regulations meant to protect our ecosystem. His government's decision to dismantle the Greenbelt protections poses a serious threat to our natural habitats and urban wildlife. These actions disregard scientific evidence and the concerns of environmental experts.

Let us also not forget the scandals and lack of transparency that have characterized this administration. From mishandling public funds to ignoring ethical governance, these issues are eroding public trust and democracy in our province.

This is why we need to initiate a recall election for Doug Ford. We need leaders who listen to the needs of Ontarians, who are transparent, and who prioritize the welfare of our province over political gain. I urge each and every one of you to consider the long-term future of Ontario — our home — and join me in calling for a fair and democratic process to remove a leader who is failing us.
