"Solesky vs Tracey" passed in Maryland a few days ago, labeling pit bulls and pit mixes as "inherently dangerous dogs" This law places liability on not only the dog owners, but any business owner, property owner, the average dog lover, and insurance companies. In increases euthanasia rates amongst bully breeds, eviction rates, increase or denial homeowners insurance, and further battering the image of bully breeds. Any dog can be deemed dangerous. It is our job to be responsible owners and be advocates for our dogs.

Who is the government to label what our dog is, how it acts, or make racial implications based on a breed that isn't even defined by the AKC?

 I plan to take these signatures to the Maryland Animal Law group, to help support their efforts in stopping this law. Please sign even if you are not a Maryland resident..your state or breed could be next!
