103 DAYS have gone by since investigation by parents began into the Board’s actions. A LOT has been uncovered despite the Board stonewalling with public records requests.
Do you trust a Board that apparently doesn’t want the public to know what they are doing? Until the parents got involved with this, the Board would not let the public know who was on Committees, when the Committees met, and would not make the Meeting Minutes available! (We still have only a fraction of the Committee Minutes!) The Committee Meetings are where they had all of the discussion of policies and changes. The Public Record Laws and Open Meeting Laws of NC are in place to prevent such things.
You aren’t the only one who doesn’t trust the Board. Ask about the donors to the 2020 Vision.
