I am a 25-year old Lithuanian mother of a 8-year old girl. In a bitter and dramatic custody battle, the first time my beloved Daughter, my only child was taken away from me by my former common-law husband named Drasius Kedys, on May 15th, 2006, when the girl was only two years old. Lithuanian authorities returned the child to me after a 6-months long litigation.

Unfortunately, it wasn't over. On December 16, 2008, the child was taken from me once again. This time around, enraged by his loss in court, Mr. Kedys chose another route - in an ultimate act of disgrace, he falsely accused me of child abuse, including sexual abuse of my beloved daughter. He and his sister, who works as a district court judge, filed numerous criminal complaints against me, all of which have been rejected by local persecutors, as well as the Court, as being without proof or merit.

This dramatic story then took many bizarre and very tragic twists, as a result of which four people, including my older sister died.

On May 14, 2010, District Court of Kedainiai, issued a Judicial Order, mandating an immediate return of my child to me. In the act of a blatant disregard for the Law and Order in Lithuania, someone organized bands of local mob, which prevented Court bailiff from enforcing the Court Order, by means brutal physical force. Lithuanian law-enforcement cowardly backed off and did nothing to defend the law.

The following turn of events defies common sense, or basic principles of human decency. A new series of civil court proceedings have been initiated, which supposedly should result in an order to return my child back to me, and which have been and are being continued, and postponed time, after time, after time, with no end in sight. Meanwhile, my child remains separated from me, her loving mother. From mother, who has never been charged with any wrongdoing against her, and Lithuanian authorities are steadily refusing to disclose the reason and legal justification for this continuous assault on the universally recognized sacred bond between Mother and Child.

My questions to the authorities, like „FOR WHAT REASONS MY CHILD HAS BEEN TAKEN AWAY? WHY EXACTLY MY CHILD HAS BEEN FORCIBLY SEPARATED FROM HER MOTHER? ON WHAT LEGAL OR MORAL GROUNDS THIS POOR LITTLE GIRL IS NOT BEING PROMPTLY RETURNED TO ME, HER MOTHER?“ - remain persistently unanswered.

It clearly seems that my only, yet immense fault, is that of being a young mother without financial ability to hire a powerful private attorney, who would be able to move this case from its current standstill, to the only reasonable conclusion - return of my child to me, her mother.

Therefore, I beg all decent, caring people of the world: please help me fight for my child with your kind, generous support. Please donate as much, or as little as you can. I will be forever grateful to all of you, who will help me to win this painful battle of my life - against those, who have money, power, but no conscience, no decency, no shame.
