Gandhi        Cyprus imported 9000 dogs to sell on the island last year, and they were imported as personal pets....most of which are hunting dogs. Each year after hunting season, many of these dogs are abandoned in the woods, others tortured to death..the fortunate are found by good samaritans. While kept, most dogs are put in small metal cages outside in the scorching heat and/or cold winters. The Cypriot government allows this. Enough is enough, stop abusing animals, stop viewing them as property and start viewing them as living beings.
