Anthony J. Thompson Jr was a 17 year old student at Austin East High School located in Knoxville Tennessee. On April 12 2021, After an argument with his girl friend at the school, the mother of Anthony’s girlfriend called the police on him for which then 4 officers arrived at Austin East High School in response to the call. They then searched for Anthony and found him in the school bathroom. Not even a minute in officer Adam Wilson let off 3 shots, one of them accidentally striking his self and the other two fatally striking Anthony. He was pronounced dead in the bathroom of the school. Not only did the officer lie and said that he was shot by Anthony with his own personal gun, they also were trying to hide the body cam footage by the constant delays of releasing the footage to the public. Due to the officers lying about what actually occurred, Officer Wilson was deemed a hero because it was falsely portrayed that they stopped Anthony from going on a shooting rampage in the school. Only until an investigation by the Tennessee Bureau of Investigations was done then the truth came to light that Wilson had injured his self and had made a false report of the incident. Anthony was wrongfully murdered by the Knoxville Police department. We NEED justice for this. We NEED justice for Anthony J Thompson Jr. We can’t let this be the topic of today and it disappear tomorrow. I am calling for all the officers involved; Brain Baldwin, Stanley Cash, Adam Willson, and Johnathon Clabough arrested and charged for the unlawful murder of a 17 year old child. DA Charme P. Allen just announced that no charges will be filed against all of the officers involved. We need justice.
