A debate over renaming 'Indore' as 'Indur' has started after a proposal for it was tabled at the general council meeting of the city municipal corporation.
The proposal, which was tabled, demanded to rename 'Indore' as 'Indur' in the Indore Municipal Corporation citing "historical facts", that the original name of Indore was 'Indur'.
Changing the name of a city which is itself historical is not at all needed or required. Indore as the name itself is very powerful and known from years, so why there is a need for change. 

Let "Indore" be "Indore"
