Stop Illegal Palm Oil Extraction in Indonesia

The Issue

Illegal palm oil extraction is causing serious damage to our planet, its wildlife, and people because of the destruction of the tropical rainforest in Southeast Asia. Palm oil is used in most consumer goods available on the market, and our practices of purchasing these goods without knowing where they come from contributes to the loss of homes and habitats for already endangered species. We cannot expect  the Indonesian government to change its ways overnight, but we can bring more public attention to the problem, and ask that consumers become aware of how their purchasing practices are affecting the world's ecosystems.
