There has been alot of media recently about baby money torture videos and online hate groups. After watching the BBC special report on the case, I was horrified to learn that macques monkey who are the "stars" of baby monkey torture videos, don't have protected animal status. That means that Indonesian police don't have to act on reports of cruelty against them, and most importantly, the perpetrators when arrested, aren't given significant jail sentences. 

Baby monkey torture and it's online presence has been a growing trend. Babies are brutally tortured and killed in the most sick and sadistic ways, and cruelly abused, often for years until they die. 

This is an ongoing trend with baby monkey hate videos on YouTube and videos and baby monkey hate groups on Telegram and Facebook some with thousands of members. Reporting these videos and groups do nothing as social media refuses to enact meaningful safeguards against this content and groups.

The content mostly comes from Indonesia and it is there where the most effective actions can happen. This would be to make macques monkeys a protected species.

Please join the online community trying to save baby monkeys from this abuse and torture. Sign and share this petition and ask Indonesia police and government to change the laws to protect these innocent babies.
