Slow down development in northern Virginia

Slow down development in northern Virginia
The Issue
An issue being faced locally are the many developments being built, These developments include houses, commercial and office buildings, and data centers. This is a problem because it is destroying our habitat. We must protect the small amount of green space we have left.
Between 2001 and 2016, the amount of developed land area in Virginia increased by almost 7%, from 2.36 million acres to 2.52 million acres. Meanwhile, we have seen losses in forests and other natural land covers, as well as in agricultural lands.
If you sign this petition we can show the board of supervisors that this is a problem and that we need an effective solution.
