Change Indiana's State Slogan

The Issue

It's long been a stereotype that Indiana’s residents are hillbillies and all we eat is corn. Honest-to-Goodness Indiana, the new slogan coined by the Indiana Office of Tourism Development, merely reinforces this stereotype. Indiana listed a goal to become a "tech haven" and wants to be a forward thinking state. This slogan works directly in opposition to this. It is a false representation of our state as a whole, and a step in the wrong direction.

We love Indiana and want our slogans to reflect that. We want our State representatives and tourism board to reconsider this slogan, and change it to something that truly represents Indiana.
