Please - I encourage all of you to do your own vetting.

If anything is certain, there are a lot of lunatics out there. 

My concern is constitutional rights and personal freedom... frankly, the elimination of things that I view as a violation of personal privacy, parental rights, and freedom, especially in scenarios where discrimination could occur. 

I am beholden to NO ONE.  I am a parent of a daughter whom I love.  I believe that I am her steward and it is my responsibility to do the best job I can at parenting and teaching her to stand up boldly for what she believes in. 

I have empathy and compassion for our children who are stuck in this mess that politicians and nefarious individuals have created.  I fight for my kid, period.  If I can fight for a few more of her counterparts at the same time, then that's just a bonus. 

I will not venture into long diatribes and defenses of my petition.  (Some people just want to wear you out and make you tired.  Beware of those people!) My petition is CUT AND DRIED and very easy to understand and is verifiable by doing some minor homework. You check it out.  If your high schooler's or younger kids' transcripts have this information when they change schools, then you decide if it's something you want divulged in this manner, or if you would like to exercise more caution in this political climate. 

If you have reservations, don't sign it.  Use your discernment.  I'm just trying to do my part to protect peoples' liberties in whatever small way I can. 

I didn't know change.org accepted donations.  This is my first time using this site.  Please know I am not getting any money for this.  I imagine the platform uses it to sustain its existence.  I will not defend or despise them for it.  It was the only platform I knew to use.
