PETITION TO ADD ROOSEVELT HIGH SCHOOL 

TO INDIANA PRESERVED HISTORIC SITES

AND TO BUILD A MUSEUM ON THE CAMPUS OF ROOSEVELT  

TO PRESERVE THE HISTORY OF ROOSEVELT AND THE HISTORY OF AFRICAN AMERICANS

AND PEOPLE OF COLOR IN INDIANA

We, the undersigned submit the following petition to our leaders to provide the legislation, funding, and resources needed to add Roosevelt High School to the portfolio of Indiana preserved historic sites and to provide the legislation, funding, and resources to build a museum on the Roosevelt campus to preserve and share the history of African Americans and people of color who have played a significant role in Indiana’s history.
