Energy Storage/Solar Generator Indiana State Credit Update

Petition update: 9/5/2026

We just hit 102 signatures. Yes, we have a way to go but we are moving forwards. Thank you to all that have signed, shared and even pitched in some funds to help get the word out.

The big update is State Representative Carey Hamilton reached out to me and we have scheduled a meeting with her on the 15th. Her is the link to her Bio Carey Hamilton: Carey Hamilton https://www.indianahousedemocrats.org/members/carey-hamilton —   — Indiana House Democratic Caucus. Feel free to email her and ask her to please support this tax credit. She is definitely on the right side of this topic and is also on the committees that could move this forward. My friend Erin from Solar United Neighbors Indiana will also be joining the meeting along with another friend who just had an 8kw solar system with 16Kw battery back up installed last fall on his home. They will both add depth and real-world experience to the discussion. If we can get Rep Hamilton on board hopefully, we can get some good state wide attention and support.

I am starting to work on research for solar generators and battery backup. I will be sharing this work on the Solar United Indiana Facebook page. Here below is an example of what I am doing. Please give it a look. Thank you again for your support. Peace.

If you want to learn about anything, one of the best ways is to immerse yourself in the topic. Watch and read as much as you can. You will not understand everything, that is ok. With time things will start to make more sense and become clearer.

There are a lot of good informative pieces on line about renewable energy and yes, some not so good. That is why it is important to watch, listen and question.

I will try to post things that with my knowledge in renewable energy are factual and helpful.

This is a nice example of a solar generator. This is not an endorsement. The gentleman seems to have working knowledge of solar.
