Friends, I have heard today that the editorial I have written for the Indianapolis Star will be published this weekend. I don't know yet whether that will mean on Saturday or on Sunday. However, whichever day it is, it will occur right before Indiana's new governor, Eric Holcomb, is inaugurated. He is my target for this editorial. When it is published, I will let you know with a link. What I will ask you to do then is to email and tweet links to the editorial to Holcomb to let him know that you are expecting him to take action on Keith's pardon. We won't do a phone call barrage unless he shows no signs of following up. I will provide you with Holcomb's contact information when the editorial is online. Next week I will be in Alabama with a group of university students on a Civil Rights tour. We will be visiting both the Equal Justice Initiative and the Southern Poverty Law Center. Keith is well-represented by a lawyer from the Chicago-based Exoneration Project (https://www.exonerationproject.org/), but I hope to get the EJI and SPLC to be allies. They are all on the same side on these justice issues. Publicity from the EJI and the SPLC can only help us. Please consider tweeting a link to this petition to the EJI (@eji_org) and the SPLC (@splcenter). Their knowledge of Keith's cause before I get there would be a great help. Let's hang on. I think we are close to getting a pardon for Keith if we can put our efforts together. Cheers, Jack Heller
