Change the No Kill Save Rate in Indiana to 95%

The Issue

Changing the Indiana state official No-Kill Save Rate to above 95% would increase the number of animals that need to be saved in each shelter for it to still be considered a no-kill shelter, which would ultimately save more animals’ lives. Increasing the No-Kill Save Rate would also help incentivize more shelters to increase their own no-kill rate, which would save more animals in smaller shelters. Even in communities, having more animals in shelters for longer periods of time will increase volunteer support and can overall benefit the areas.
