Inmates should be housed according to Sentence. Inmates doing less than 10 yrs. should not be housed in units with inmates doing life.

My son had his throat slashed in February of 2019. The man that cut his throat is doing 100 yrs. in prison for child molestation. (He had nothing to lose) 1/10 cm my child would be dead. 

Please house inmates according to Sentence.

Last week an inmate with a year left of a 5 yr. sentence was stabbed to death by a man doing 2 life sentences for murder.

I am begging the Commissioner of Indiana Department of Corrections to make a change and house inmates according to sentence.

Most inmates that have less than 10 years are mainly interested in programs to better themselves to Go home. 

And no family should have to worry about losing a loved one. Due to the callous of Lifers.

So we are begging you to please make a change!
