IPSD 204 is proposing to repurpose/take Clow Elementary School offline. We do not support this concept and want to KEEP CLOW OPEN! Clow currently is utilizing ALL of their classrooms. With concept number 1, Clow students would be split amongst three elementary schools: Springbrook, Patterson, and Owen. They will be divided from their friends, and most, if not all will be bussed to school. Students going to Owen will no longer feed into Gregory or Neuqua. Clow also has three smaller structured classrooms that have students from different buildings in the district. These three classrooms are also part of our Clow community.

The closure of Clow will result in the capacity levels of both Springbrook and Patterson Elementary schools to increase dramatically. We feel this does not allow for future community growth and more importantly for the present, creates an unsafe environment in regards to COVID. We strongly oppose this concept. We need to KEEP CLOW OPEN!
