India is a country that comprises of mostly rural population. The girls and women of those region do not understand the importance of sanitary napkins. Some drop out of school. Some die. Some ignore and continue living their life. However, we urban population who understand the need of a sanitary napkin, can give them what they don't know they need. Sanitary napkins considered to be a luxury commodity? We don't choose to have periods. We don't have the option to NOT buy them, and while we can still afford to buy them, a lot of women, can't. Please sign this petition to make some impact and atleast make the GST council aware if they aren't already, that this matter needs to be addressed.
