Hi All,

As you all know Indian Govt has chose Hindi Film Industry actor Salman Khan for the Indian Contingent's goodwill ambassador for the 2016 Rio Olympics. Its really good news for Salman Khan and his fans.
but my question is if govt is ready to select him as their goodwill ambassador for the 2016 Rio Olympics but the same govt why not considering salman khan for "Padmashri " . ?

Every time Indian govt is giving excuses that  on Salman Khan name have their court cases  so they can not consider him for Padmashri awards . But we can see now same govt is considering Salman khan for their goodwill ambassador for the 2016 Rio Olympics. so there should not be any problem to support this petition and give him prestigious award of INDIA i.e " Padmashri ". 

Salman Khan's Social Work :

1. A screen idol and box office darling ever since he hit the scene. Today he is the king of the box office by giving back to back blockbusters.
His urge to be of service to the cause of cancer is also very appreciating n fr this his efforts n contribution is also countless,he joins The Maximize Life Campaign n offer his support for cancer patients n sign the pledge.

Salman Khan signed the pledge letter to support "Child Labour Free India Campaign"

 Salman Khan sends out a forceful appeal in support of the nationwide campaign against child labour being spearheaded by Bachpan Bachoo Andolan.

They come forward to join hands with child labour free campaign to demand for a complete ban on child labour under the age of 14 years.

Being an initiative which is much larger than a movement the campaign demands for the basic right of the children.In the light of recent cases of Child Labour Abuse it is imperative for the masses to participate in large numbers to safeguard the rights of the children. (April 2010)

After taking of pledge of donating bone marrow Salman Khan kept his promise by giving his bone marrow to ailing Pooja.The little girl is in need of a bone marrow transplant and seeing the need of hour.Salman came forward with the benevolent gesture. Dr Sunil Parekh a member of MDRI said,I thank Salman Khan for the coming forward and taking up our cause.

4. Salman Khan's  "Being human Foundation " has partnered with Marrow Donor Registry India(MDRI) in November 2010 to create a world class registry of marrow donors in India for patients who have blood related illnesses like leukemia,thalessemia,aplastic anemia and cogenital immunodeficiency states.

I think Hindi film Industry and India  got very good personality in the way of Salman Khan So through this petition I am requesting Honorable Govt that please consider Salman Khan's name for the most valuable awards in India i.e "Padmashri" . 

Please Note : I dont have any personal connection with Salman khan OR his family & not with his organisation "Being human Foundation" . I have created this petition  cause some where I felt that Actor Salman Khan 's work should also get recognized by our Indian Govt.
