Dear Signers, 

It has been 20 days since Kartik was murdered. I now want to travel to Canada and look closely at how the investigation is being carried out. I am his father, I cannot keep sitting here waiting for justice - I need for it to happen now. If all 31,000 of you Tweet out my petition, then more people will sign it and the government will understand the urgency of my demand.

Last week, I wrote to the Indian Consulate in Toronto, Apoorva Srivastava ji. She promptly replied to my email saying that she understands what I am going through and that the Indian authorities are working closely with all relevant law enforcement agencies including Toronto Police to try and understand the circumstances that led this assailant to resort to random shooting at Kartik.

I need the government to provide financial assistance for me and my wife Pooja to travel to Toronto, meet the Indian Consulate, carry out the remaining paperwork and bring back Kartik’s belongings.
