Sub : To withdraw the decision of Strategic sale of Visakhapatnam Steel Plant(RINL).Request to repeal the policy of privatization of central PSUs, Insurance Companies, Banks and also all the central departments like Defence, Railway etc.,

Sir, we request you to stop Strategic sale of Visakhapatnam Steel Plant(RINL) immediately. Central government invested a sum of ₹ 5000 crores only for establishment of Visakhapatnam Steel Plant(RINL) and in return ₹ 45,000 crores has been paid in form of taxes and dividends to Central government by Visakhapatnam Steel Plant till now. Local Farmers have sacrificed 22,000 acres of land and 31,000 workforce are invaluable assets of RINL. With an estimated market value of more than 3 lakh crores, RINL is proud asset of nation. Privatisation of such an asset is humiliation to entire nation. People of united Andhra Pradesh fought and sacrificed 32 lives and got Vizag Steel Plant.

We bring to your remembrance that Visakhapatnam Steel Plant(RINL) had not been allotted captive iron ore mines since its inception. Due to this non-allocation, annually ₹ 3000 crores additional financial burden is borne by RINL. This reason stands alone contributing to major loss factor for RINL compared with its counterpart companies. All Public and Private integrated Steel Plants own captive mines, why not RINL? We request you sincerely to allocate Captive mines immediately to RINL.

We also oppose the central government decision to privatize Banks, Insurance companies, Railways, Defense sector, power sector and oil refineries. We also demand the immediate allocation of Special category status to state of Andhra Pradesh as promised in the bifurcation act of AP. We also request to implement bifurcation act for setting up of ports, Railway zone, Steel Plant are to be sanctioned immediately. 

We demand to implement all the above issues. In case of failure to implement them, we will fight and agitate till our demands are achieved

విషయం : విశాఖపట్నం స్టీల్ ప్లాంట్ అమ్మరాదని, ఆంధ్ర ప్రదేశ్ లో ఉన్న కేంద్ర ప్రభుత్వ సంస్థలు ఇన్సూరెన్స్ బ్యాంకులు విద్యుత్ పరిశ్రమలు అమ్మరాదని కోరుతూ..

విశాఖపట్నం స్టీల్ ప్లాంట్ అమ్మకాన్ని ఆపాలి. ప్రభుత్వం సొంత గనులు కేటాయించకపోవడంతో విశాఖ స్టీల్ ప్లాంట్ ముడి ఖనిజాన్ని మార్కెట్లోకి కొనడం వలన సాలిన ₹3 వేల కోట్ల అదనపు భారం పడుతుంది. కాబట్టి తక్షణమే సొంత గనులు కేటాయించాలి. కేంద్ర ప్రభుత్వం కేవలం ఐదు వేల కోట్లు పెట్టుబడి మాత్రమే పెట్టింది. కానీ విశాఖపట్నం స్టీల్ ప్లాంట్ ఇప్పటికే ₹45 వేల కోట్లు రూపాయలు పన్నులు డివిడెండ్లు రూపంలో ప్రభుత్వానికి చెల్లించింది. 22వేల ఎకరాల్లో 31 వేల మందికి ప్రత్యక్ష ఉపాధి కల్పిస్తు సుమారు ₹3 లక్షల విలువగల స్టీల్ ప్లాంటును 100% అమ్మలనే నిర్ణయాన్ని ఆపాలని కోరుతున్నాo.

ఆoధ్రప్రదేశ్ లో ఇన్సూరెన్స్,  బ్యాంకులు, విద్యుత్, రక్షణ, రైల్వే శాఖ, ఆయిల్ పరిశ్రమలతో సహా కేంద్ర ప్రభుత్వ పరిశ్రమలను అమ్మాలనే ప్రయత్నాలను మేము వ్యతిరేకిస్తున్నాం. ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్ విభజన చట్టం ప్రకారం కేంద్ర ప్రభుత్వం అంగీకరించిన ప్రత్యేక హోదా మేజర్ పోర్టు స్టీల్ ప్లాంట్ రైల్వే జోన్ ఏర్పాట్లకు కేంద్ర ప్రభుత్వం నిధులు కేటాయించాలని డిమాండ్ చేస్తున్నాం. విశాఖపట్నం స్టీల్ ప్లాంట్ సహా కేంద్ర ప్రభుత్వ పరిశ్రమలను అమ్మే ప్రయత్నం విరమించుకునెవరకు పోరాడతామని తెలియజేస్తున్నాము.
