India Needs to See the Invisible Pain: A Youth’s Plea for National Mental Health Awareness

India Needs to See the Invisible Pain: A Youth’s Plea for National Mental Health Awareness
The Issue
Petition Title:
Invite Me to Speak for the Voiceless: A National Mission for Mental Health Awareness in India
Petition Description:
Namaste Narendra Modi Ji,
Namaste Pawan Kalyan Sir,
My name is Venkata Sharan, a 24-year-old youth from India. I am not a celebrity. I am not a politician. I am just one among millions — silently carrying the invisible pain of mental trauma.
Who is impacted?
For over 15 years, I have suffered silently. My body looked normal, but inside, every day felt like a war. And I know I’m not alone. From students and working youth, to parents and elders — millions of Indians are breaking down mentally and emotionally, with no one truly seeing or hearing them. Many don't speak because they fear judgment. Many smile while slowly losing themselves inside.
What is at stake?
If this continues, we will lose an entire generation to silence, self-doubt, and emotional pain. But if leaders like you — Modi Ji and Pawan Kalyan Sir — take a stand, this can become India’s emotional revolution. If you listen to my message, you’re listening to all of us. If you invite me, you are inviting the unheard to speak.
Why is now the time to act?
Now is the time to break the stigma. Now is the time to hear the silent screams. I’ve recorded a 2-minute video — raw, real, and from the deepest part of my being. I request you to watch this video, and invite me for a personal meeting. I carry not a complaint, but a mission — to heal our country emotionally from the inside.
This is not a trend.
This is not politics.
This is not for fame.
This is about truth, trauma, and transformation.
🙏 Please, Modi Ji.
🙏 Please, Pawan Kalyan Sir.
Give this voice a chance.
Let India rise — emotionally, mentally, and spiritually.
With folded hands and complete honesty,
Venkata Sharan
