It appears that BAC has been euthanizing healthy, non-dangerous animals without legitimate reasons, any consequences and are allowed to continue this practice without any oversight from the city of Beaumont or having to answer any outsiders’ questions.

If BAC is allowed to continue to operate without any oversight many more helpless, adoptable animals may be euthanized. By now banning volunteer, Rhonda Girard, a very important voice these animals had that were on the Code Red List will have even less of a chance to find their FurEver Homes and share the love they all have inside of them.

An independent investigation of the current practices of BAC needs to be started immediately. Rhonda should be allowed to return to BAC to document, photograph, and film the animals on the Code Red list to help find them a foster, rescue or adopter. She should also be allowed to visit all the animals being held at BAC during open hours without being harassed.

There is no time to waste as more helpless animals will meet an unfortunate fate until better practices are adopted by BAC.
