Teamsters Local 710 and Secretary-Treasurer Pat Flynn have been investigated by the Independent Review Board (IRB) for the past three (3) years. After going over every penny the only thing they were able to come up with is Pat being too generous. There has not been one penny of union money that was mishandled or misused. Local 710 purchased gift cards for union steward's and to be given away to fellow union brothers and sisters who attended general meetings. Some of the gift cards were not traced after being given away to pensioners and other union members in need. He may be guilty of being too generous, however, for everyone that knows Pat Flynn we all know that he has never taken a dime away from the members. Pat has been and will always be a stand up guy and a union leader to look up to. We are starting this petition called "We Back Pat" to show the Independent Review Board that Pat's leadership and commitment to the union has made a positive impact on many. We do not agree with the decision to charge him with Embezzlement and to tarnish his reputation. I ask everyone who knows Patrick Flynn to please stand together and sign the petition. We will fight along side Pat as he has faught for so many of our fellow union brothers and sisters and their families.
