For MP's to impose a pay cap on their salaries until the UK is financially stable
0 have signed. Let’s get to 200!
At a time when we are all encouraged to tighten our belts and accept pay caps and cut backs as public sector workers, I ask that MP's lead by example and accept the same 1% pay cap until the UK is financially stable.
For every firefighter and police officer injured, mentally scarred or taken in the line of duty.
For every NHS worker that tirelessly gives care with restricted resources and still a smile on most faces.
for all public sector workers that had to hear how our government had cheered when the pay cap was not removed. While I guess from a financial viewpoint it is good for them, should they not see that as a sad thing that services relied upon across the country are basically on their backsides desperately trying to cope. Public sector workers using food banks, this isn't a situation that should be cheered about! Not forgetting that MPs themselves rely on the services provided by the public sector! They don't all get private care!
So Theresa May and her parliament please lead by example and accept the same pay cap as the rest of us!
