I am a concerned citizen, tired of seeing the lawlessness that has gripped our society where will it all end?

Every day, I read about members of the public's experiences on neighbourhood forums, hear stories from family and friends, or see reports on news and social media. People are becoming victims twice over - first by crime, then by the system that merely provides a crime number while their insurance premiums skyrocket.

Our cities have become places where people fear to venture out. The elderly feel imprisoned in their own homes due to safety concerns.This is not how it should be ,everyone has the right to feel safe in their own homes,streets & neighbourhoods at any time of day.

The situation is exacerbated by an ongoing cost-of-living crisis with high inflation rates and energy price hikes.Our National Health Service (NHS) is also under immense strain. Amid these challenges, we're facing an exponential rise in crime rates - it's worse than ever before,anti social behaviour,gangs,drugs,knife crime,robberies,burglaries,mugging,fraud,cars being stripped in broad daylight ,ram raids,it’s never ending,what are we paying our taxes for.

It barely affects those who we elect ,as they don’t have to put up with it or care.

We need a tangible change now! We demand an end to this lawless society through more visible policing or implementing effective safeguards for public safety. Let us work together towards a safer community where no one becomes a victim of crime & circumstance twice.
