We are residents of New Brunswick, NJ, USA, and we are tired of seeing our city streets littered with trash. We walk around our city and see garbage all over the streets with barely any trash cans in sight. While George Street seems to be prioritized, the rest of our beloved city appears neglected.

Illegal dumping is a serious issue that affects not only the aesthetic appeal of our community but also poses significant health risks. Littering in itself produces greenhouse gas emissions that are output, harming our environment as a whole, creating further climate change issues.

New Brunswick deserves better. We deserve clean streets and neighborhoods where we can take pride in where we live. Increasing the number of trash cans throughout the city would provide more opportunities for proper waste disposal and discourage illegal dumping.
