I am an Amazon Flex driver, and I am encountering a significant issue. The current cap on maximum working hours is severely limiting my work potential. This petition seeks to increase this cap, enabling hard workers like myself to earn much needed additional income.

The Amazon Flex program allows drivers such as myself to deliver packages in their own time, with their own vehicle, providing a flexible earning opportunity. However, currently, we are capped at 40 hours a week for logistics deliveries and 8 hours a day for Prime Now deliveries. This limit does not take into consideration those of us who are willing and able to responsibly work additional hours.

Amazon should allow for more flexibility in the working situation of its Flex drivers. As the e-commerce giant with a net income of $11.59 billion in 2019, Amazon should do more to protect the income rights of its hardworking Flex drivers. (Source: Statista 2020)
