The speed limit on Sunset Highway, US 26, has a very low speed limit. Sunset highway is a freeway starting at exit 55. However, The speed limit stays at 55, even though most freeways have a speed limit of 65 in rural areas, or at least 60 in suburban areas. The speed limit on freeways is usually only 55 in downtown areas.

The speed limit on Sunset Highway should be increased to 65 (trucks 60) from exits 55-61 and 60 (trucks 55) from exits 61-71.
