Teachers have been the guiding force behind all of our leaders and notable figures in business, yet what they receive in terms of compensation is woefully insufficient. Considering their impactful role in shaping the future of our society, it stands to reason that they deserve not just our respect, but also a salary commensurate to their monumental task.

According to a report from the Economic Policy Institute, teachers earn 19% less than similarly educated professionals.
