Rhode Island roads are the lowest ranked roads in the USA. We are doing a civics action project and our goal is to improve the quality of roads in Rhode Island. The poor condition of the roads makes the driving experience uncomfortable and sometimes more dangerous. It increases vehicle wear which leads to more spending on repairs. Our plan is to divert spending from other programs and put it into the roads. Certain programs such as the rebates for electric vehicles and solar panels take millions of unneeded spending from RI tax payers. It would help so much if you signed this petition and would help even more if you went above and beyond and emailed or reached out to our state representatives or RIDOT.
