I'm extremely tired of seeing horrible people only getting a fine or probation for taking an animal's life. Every life matters, and it's not anyone's right to take a life, whether human or animal. Why can't animal abusers get the same amount of jail time as those who commit battery on humans? Animals deserve justice too. Veterinarians may sometimes need to make difficult decisions based on age or health, but intentional harm should never be tolerated. And I would like to try to change the laws that our pets isn't out property and  they should be protected like we humans are. The laws have it today that the Horrendous acts that people do to these beloved animals isn't serious because in the law it states that the pets are only property. So harming a pet is only  considered damaging a window. Which all lives should Metter the same despite human or pet. If you take a life regardless pet or human you should by law do the time. Maybe if this law can be changed then maybe horrible people will see that harming that pet isn't worth 10 year in prison. 

Animal cruelty is a serious issue that affects millions of animals each year. According to the Humane Society of the United States, nearly 1 million animals are abused or killed annually due to domestic violence alone (Humane Society). Strengthening laws and increasing penalties will deter potential abusers and ensure that those who harm animals face appropriate consequences.

Sign this petition if you believe in stronger penalties for animal abusers and want to see justice served for all living beings!   I'm not sure this will change anything but it doesn't hurt to try. Please I desperately need your help and so do they.
