Based on reports by the Annie E. Casey Foundation, 1 in 5 American youths who age out of foster care will become homeless, and about half will be unemployed by their mid-20s. This is a testament to the urgent need for funding and support.

More funding will allow for focused intervention programs, quality life skills training, and comprehensive housing programs to help these young adults transition smoothly into adulthood. It's time to advocate for these children's futures and demand our elected officials to increase funding for children aging out of foster care.
