Increase funding for child and adolescent mental health services. CAMHS

The waiting lists are appalling. Two to three years pushed back again and again. Children and young people and their families are left in an ever spiralling despair without access to specialist multidisciplinary teams. Often pushing everyone, child, parents, teachers to the edge of despair and beyond. If you’ve never lived with someone who needs help and support you have no idea how close to breaking point you are every single day. 

More funding is needed, more specialist staff are needed. Greater urgency from local councils and more realistically Scottish and Uk governments are needed. Not more political spin. The situation is serious.
