The Issue

I am personally concerned about this issue because many of my family and friends reside in black communities where the infrastructure is dismal. Residents of these communities face numerous difficulties due to lack of suitable facilities and resources crucial for a good quality of life. According to a report of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), the current state of the U.S. infrastructure scores a D+, and the situation is even more acute in black and low-income communities.

Neighborhoods in black communities often struggle with substandard housing, lack of access to quality health care, inadequate schools, and depleted local economies. It is critical for the government to significantly increase funding in these areas which will not only enhance the living standards in these areas but also provide opportunities for economic growth.

This petition urges the government to recognize and act on this crucial issue. It's time for our government to adequately fund infrastructure in black communities and take a significant step towards social and economic equality. We must stand up for the wellbeing of these communities and demand action. Please support this petition and join the fight for justice and equality. Sign the petition and help us seek economic justice for black communities.
