Carers have been taken advantage of for too long in Ireland and it's high time they were respected as a community for the work they do. 

National minimum wage is set at €11.30 per hour and Full-Time Carers work at least 37 hours per week (the average work week), a lot of times more. 

We save the state €20 billion per year and we deserve our due.

Having to fund private healthcare for our children isn't cheap, which many of us are having to do, on top of additional needs and rising costs for living. 

Sign on for change and respect Carers as a community. 

37 hrs at €11.30 per hour is €418.10 per week. Our rate should increase as minimum wage does.

An end to the cruel means testing enforced on Carers is a must. We have additional needs to care for, not less than the average person. Give us a fighting chance to rise above poverty.
