Increase Awareness and Research for Tourette's Syndrome in the UK
The Issue
I recently watched a film that opened my eyes to how misunderstood and vulnerable people with Tourette's syndrome are. Many think it's just about shouting or swearing, but that's completely incorrect. It's a neurological condition that causes sudden, uncontrollable movements or sounds, known as tics. Behind every tic is a person who deserves patience, understanding, and care. People living with Tourette's often face bullying, isolation, and a lack of support.
We need the UK government, NHS Research, and others to increase funding for research, support education about Tourette's, and promote awareness and assistance for those in need. Everyone deserves to be understood, not laughed at. By signing this petition, you're helping to create a kinder, more accepting world for people living with Tourette's. Together, we can make a difference. Thank you.
