As an avid audiobook listener, I find myself running out of listening hours on Spotify in just two days. This is a common issue faced by many premium users who, like me, believe that if we are paying for this service, there should be no restrictions on our audiobook listening hours. Currently, Spotify limits premium users to only 15 hours of audiobooks per month. This limitation seems arbitrary and unfair given the fact that we pay a monthly fee specifically for unrestricted access to content. On top of that you have to pay an additional $14 for 10 extra hours when you run out.

Audiobooks have gained significant popularity over the years. According to the Audio Publishers Association's annual survey (2019), 50% of Americans age 12 and up have listened to an audiobook - a clear indication of their growing importance in our lives.

By limiting our access to these resources, Spotify is not only hindering our personal growth but also potentially losing out on retaining its customer base. It's time for Spotify to reconsider its policy and increase the number of audiobook listening hours from 15 per month to unlimited for its premium users.
