I am a Persian wanting to learn another language. Unfortunately, the Duolingo app, one of the most approachable language-learning tools, does not offer Persian, making it difficult to explore and understand new languages through my native tongue.

Persian, or Farsi, is the official language of Iran, and it is also widely spoken in Afghanistan and Tajikistan. Being one of the world's oldest languages, it's a fundamental heritage of human civilization. It's estimated that over 110 million people in the world speak Persian, but sadly, to this point, this language is still absent from the Duolingo application.

Considering the diversity and multiculturalism in today's world, Duolingo plays a crucial role in bridging connections among different cultures. It has offered over 38 language courses for English speakers, and it's time Persian is included.

Think about the Persian speaking people wanting to learn new languages through a familiar platform. Think about all those who have Persian roots who can't access their ancestral language on Duolingo.

This petition is to request Duolingo to recognize the need for inclusion of the Persian language in their system, not only to benefit Persian speakers but also those interested in learning this ancient and rich language.
