NEVER FORGET September 29-30 1941 🕯️84 years since the Babi Yar massacres. In just two days on Yom Kipoyr 33,771 Jews of Kyiv were murdered, one of the deadliest single atrocities of the Holocaust.

The Jews of Kyiv who remained after the invasion were mostly women, children, and the elderly.

The Babi Yar massacre was one of the largest single mass murders during the "Holocaust by bullets," the mass shootings carried out in Eastern Europe that resulted in the deaths of over one-third of the Holocaust's total victims. The event became a symbol of the barbarity of this phase of the genocide.

The fact that the massacre began on the eve of Yom Kippur—the Day of Atonement, a day of fasting and introspection—is believed by many to have been deliberately chosen by the Nazis. It added a layer of profound desecration and cruelty to the crime.

The memory of Babyn Yar is our responsibility — to remember, to honor, and to never allow such hatred again.

It must be taught in schools as part of Jewish Heritage History.

Thank you for signing our petition.

Please share it & request Fair Lawn Board of Education to include Nationally Recognized JAHM of MAY in schools’ curriculum.
