My dream has always been to try out gymnastics. Unfortunately, my limited budget has hindered me from pursuing this aspiration of mine. That's why I believe that including gymnastics in the sporting programs of Rutherford County Schools can provide a cheaper, accessible alternative for students like me, aspiring to explore gymnastics.

Gymnastics does not only foster physical development, but it also boosts mental strength, enhances social skills, and encourages discipline and commitment. However, access to gymnastics training can be costly, a hurdle that prevents many children and young adults from engaging in this beneficial sport.

This is where our schools can play a significant role. Most school sports programs are subsidized, making them more affordable to all students. By incorporating gymnastics into the sports programs of Rutherford County Schools, we can ensure that budget constraints do not rob our students of the chance to learn this dynamic and rewarding sport.

Lastly, it is essential to mention that the athlete population within Rutherford County Schools is diverse, enthusiastic, and determined. Adding gymnastics to our school sports programs can further enrich this diversity, ignite more enthusiasm, and empower more determination.
