Urgent Call to Action: Combat School Bullying
School bullying, a pervasive form of violence among adolescents, has evolved into a global crisis and a critical public health issue. Recent research among 280 primary school students aged 10–12 reveals alarming statistics. The prevalence rate of bullying behavior stands at 12.5%, with males at a higher percentage (15.8%) compared to females (9%).
In the group experiencing bullying, higher mean scores were recorded for verbal and social bullying, followed by psychological and physical bullying. Additionally, students facing bullying exhibited elevated mean scores for conduct problems, passive-inattentiveness, and hyperactivity compared to their non-bullied peers.
These findings emphasise the urgent need to address the intersectionality of school bullying, ADHD, and conduct disorders. By sharing the petition, you contribute to the movement for change.
