Due to the population burst in Wagholi, it is difficult for Lonikand Police Station (under Pune Rural Police) to control the situation of law and order and daily traffic needs. A separate Traffic control room is also required in Wagholi. 

Existing Lonikand PS covers 25 villages and having huge burden with extremely less manpower. Many times residents also have to lend hands in controlling traffic on the road along with other NGO's.

Assimilation in Pune City Police is the first step towards merging in PMC which we have been following for so many  years (https://www.change.org/p/pune-municipal-corporation-wagholi-inclusion-in-pmc-or-pcmc)

Inclusion in Pune City Police is the landmark decision for our #SaveWagholi campaign (https://www.change.org/SaveWagholi) and nobody should oppose it if it actually happens
