WIth Mario Kart World being the latest game with Pauline as a playable racer, given that she's a mayor, she has not received the same level of recognition and appreciation as Peach, Daisy, and Rosalina. However, that does not excuse the Big N from excluding the original damsel to roam with the ladies canonically. To add insult to injury, Nintendo continues excluding her from posters containing "Mario and Friends," this includes wallpapers, plastic and glass cups, item tags, tote bags, and even the Nintendo Switch carring cases.

Pauline made her debut in the 1981 Donkey Kong arcade game as Lady. She went on to appear on the Saturday Supercade show and on several Mario vs. Donkey Kong entries except for Amiibo Challenge. Her latest reappearance in Super Mario Odyssey on the Nintendo Switch went on to render her playable in Mario Tennis Aces, Mario Golf Super Rush, Mario Strikers Battle League, Mario Kart Tour, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, and prior recently Super Mario Party Jamboree.

In recent Mario Kart World previews and teasers, we have seen the unjustified exclusion of Pauline from the human damsel group just because she's "different" or needs to remain in the Donkey Kong subseries (which must NOT occur at all), such as the Switch 2 Direct preview of the game where Daisy, Peach & Rosalina (in order from shortest to tallest and all wearing their Touring outfits) are all brought together in a gameplay capture example as if they were triplets. To further inginite fire fuel, another preview capture of the crowned rulers (now ranging: Rosalina, Peach, and Daisy together in their regular outfits riding on their Roadster Royales) was posted on online for the whole gaming realm to see. The lack of costume alts for her and group bias was so intense that it sparked outrage among Pauline fans who one day dreamed of seeing the musical mayor one day canonically play, brawl, party and race with the crowned women of the Super Mario franchise.

We sincerely request Nintendo and Mario Kart Development Head Kosuke Yabuki to reconsider pushing Pauline to fully be a mainstay in the franchise by arranging her with the rulers and granting her more costume alts like Pro-Racer, Touring, Cowgirl, Rose and the Concert Black gown (which is inspired by the dress women in choruses and ensembles wear). 

Pauline has come a long way into the series and it's time she receives the same amount of love as Mario and Friends do.
