Highlights the need for the EAC to put in place mechanisms to integrate the climate change actions (as much as possible nature-based solutions) in all planned region-wide micro – to mega investments, projects and programmes to build more resilient communities and ecosystems, rather than the climate policy being implemented on its own. In other words, all interventions must be assessed against a climate sensitivity criteria
