As a lifelong fan of Disney, I've always had a special place in my heart for Merida from Brave. She is my favorite princess, yet I often find myself disappointed by her lack of representation in various Disney shows and events, such as Disney on Ice. This is not just about me - there are countless other fans who share this sentiment.

Merida is an important character who embodies courage, independence, and the spirit of adventure. She broke the mold when she was introduced as a princess who didn't need to be saved but instead chose her own path. According to a survey by The Guardian (2016), Merida was voted among the top three favorite princesses due to her strong character traits.

Despite this popularity among audiences, she remains underrepresented in key Disney events and shows. This petition seeks to change that by urging The Walt Disney Company to include Merida more prominently across their platforms.

The September before last, me and my family went to Disney, and when we were looking for a Merida pin, we couldn't find a single one! We could only find it on their website. We also couldn't find any Merida ornaments to hang on our tree, other than one the website, and it's not because they were sold out. I was very disappointed and we ended up having to buy it off the website and have it sent to our house.
