The CDC committee that decides on ICD-10 codes is meeting TOMORROW to discuss a proposal to implement ICD-10 codes for Lipedema in 2024. We need everyone involved to email them a public comment before October 11 with this statement. "I support implementing ICD-10 codes for lipedema as proposed in the September 2024 meeting, as soon as possible." They can tell whether they're a patient, caregiver, provider, friend or family member of a patient, and some challenges they've faced due to not having diagnosis codes in place. email nchsicd10cm@cdc.gov
