Please write to the school board to tell them that the NON-native mascot decision for Rutland Senior High School ( Rutland City, Vermont United States) needs to STAY, and NOT be reversed. Ask them to find accurate information and history about the Indigenous Peoples of the region. Ask them to put people who know about and have experience with the Indigenous in charge of the curriculum decisions concerning Indigenous history and heritage for the school district.
